Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use personalised features. Purchases are made on third-party retailer sites, which may set their own minimum age and eligibility requirements. By using SZNL you confirm you can form a binding agreement with us.

What SZNL is

SZNL is a discovery service: we aggregate clothing from third-party retailers, classify it by colour season, and link you to the retailer to buy. We are not the seller. Your purchase contract is with the retailer, and their terms, prices, delivery, and returns policies apply.

Affiliate relationships

Outbound retailer links are affiliate links. We may earn a commission on purchases made through them, at no extra cost to you. This never affects whether an item matches your season.

Accuracy of information

Product details, prices, and availability come from retailer feeds and can lag behind the retailer's own site. Colour-season classifications and quiz results are editorial guidance generated by automated analysis — they are styling suggestions, not guarantees. Always check the retailer's page before buying.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure. You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service (for example, automated scraping or fraudulent affiliate activity).

Acceptable use

You agree to use SZNL only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:

• scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data, or access the service through automated means beyond normal browsing;
• copy, resell, or commercially exploit our content, classifications, or branding without our written permission;
• interfere with, probe, or attempt to bypass the security or integrity of the service;
• upload or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading, or that you do not have the right to share; or
• misuse affiliate links or engage in fraudulent activity.

Intellectual property

The SZNL name, logo, site design, editorial content, and colour-season classifications are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the service for your own non-commercial purposes. Product names, images, and trade marks belong to the relevant retailers or brands and are used to help you identify items.

Content you provide

If you submit content — such as an expert application or profile — you confirm you have the right to share it and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use it to operate and promote the service. You remain responsible for the content you provide, and we may remove content that breaches these terms.

Experts directory

Experts listed on SZNL are independent practitioners, not our employees or agents. Any engagement you enter into with an expert is between you and them. Experts are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles.

Third-party links and services

SZNL links to retailers and other third-party websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, availability, or privacy and security practices, and accessing them is at your own risk. Their terms and policies apply to your use of them.

Disclaimers

SZNL is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information, classifications, or styling suggestions are accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes. Any reliance you place on them is at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from retailer transactions, inaccurate feed data, styling outcomes, or your use of or inability to use the service, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law. None of these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against reasonable claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your infringement of any third-party rights, except to the extent the loss is caused by us.

Changes and availability

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and we may change these terms from time to time. When we change them, we'll revise the "last updated" date above, and your continued use of SZNL after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You may stop using SZNL and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that could harm SZNL, other users, or third parties. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity — will continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you benefit from any mandatory protections of the law where you live.

General

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
